Easy listening, fun, “backyard” contemporary Hawaiian music would be the best description of the type of music you can expect from the group IMUA.

Their first CD “Endangered Species”, second release, “Live Aloha”, and third “Next Generation” has produced many hit songs that receive a great deal of radio airplay locally, in the mainland, and internationally.  Imua’s Christmas album has received rave reviews and is highly requested during the Holiday season.

Although Imua has received numerous Na Hoku Hanohano and Hawaii Music Award nominations, nothing is as precious as a smile on someone’s face after listening to them play live and hearing  a familiar Imua song or cover.  So kick back, relax, and let the fun, backyard, family style music of Imua take you to that “compfort” place where you are always happy.

Kamuela Kahoano

Kamuela is one of Hawaii's most distinguished, versatile and accomplished performers. He holds a Na Hoku Award (like a Hawaiian Grammy), has performed 2500+ events worldwide, 669 of which were weddings with 100% positive feedback. Kamuela will surely make your big day memorable and full of aloha.

Although Kamuela’s stomping ground is Honolulu, Hawaii, in the last 5 years he has traveled throughout the US and Japan (and at SXSW 2010), gigging under different guises and genres of original solo experimental ukulele, rock, reggae, traditional Hawaiian, solo guitar, folk, and singer / songwriter.

Kamuela has five albums (and one single) to his producer credit with three more already in the works.

In 2011, Kamuela won the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Rock category for his album “Stream Dreams.” This is the highest honor one can receive for music in Hawaii. His comedy song “She’s Grumpy It’s My Fault” was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Contest (ISC) 2011, and “Green Light Go 2.0” made “suggested artist” honors in the 2011 Song of the Year Contest. It has been touted that he is possibly “one of the best ukulele players in the world.”

Kamuela is the younger brother of Making the Band (Original Series) cast member Ikaika Kahoano (also of Otown and LMNT) and the son of local Hawaii entertainment legend Kimo Kahoano.
